A licensed veterinary technician is a medical professional and, at General Booth Veterinary Hospital, we intend to hold you to that high regard. We value all of our medical team, but especially the skills and value that a licensed veterinary nurse brings.
General Booth Veterinary Hospital is an independently owned, AAHA accredited practice that has been serving Virginia Beach for over 30 years. We have a newly renovated building and were recently voted one of America’s Top 500 Animal Hospitals by Newsweek magazine for 2025. All of our DVM’s and Nurses have 5+ years of experience. Most of our DVMs and Nurses have been with the practice for 5+ years. We are a practice that thrives on staying current and we are not afraid to change, if the veterinary field requires change. We try to stay progressive and current with our approach to maintaining a healthy practice culture, in addition to the medicine we offer.
Requirements
*Licensed in the State of VA
*Ability to work rotating Saturdays
*Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
*Ability to maintain professional and courteous demeanor in challenging/stressful situations.
