Brief Job Overview/Summary
Under the direction of the Dean of Business, the Teaching Specialist will fulfill all the responsibilities and expectations of Non-Tenure Track Stockton faculty as outlined in the University policies and procedures on faculty evaluation.
Descriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- This position involves teaching face-to-face and online introductory courses in Management at the undergraduate level
- This position will teach four courses (16 teaching credit hours) per fall and spring semester
- This position will involve teaching at Stockton's instructional sites in Galloway, NJ, and Atlantic City, NJ (approximately 12 miles apart)
- Serve as a preceptor to students
- Provide service to the University, community, and/or profession, including responsibilities of Assessment of Student Learning
- School of Business faculty members must also support Stockton University's diversity commitment and strong student-centered vision and mission
- This position will fulfill all the responsibilities and expectations of Stockton faculty as outlined in the University policies and procedures on faculty evaluation
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Dean of Business and/or the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs
Required Qualifications
- An earned Master's Degree in Business Administration - Management or a closely related discipline
- Evidence of teaching in the Management Field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience teaching introductory and intermediate management courses at the undergraduate level
- Teaching experience in higher education for two or more years
- Related industry work experience
