We are seeking a regulatory specialist to join the team to assist with regulatory compliance services for clients within the pet industry. This is a full-time remote position.
Job responsibilities include:
1. Manage a portfolio of clients for all matters related to registration, licensing and tonnage while acting as the clients' primary contact
2. Act as the liaison between clients and regulatory officials
3. Maintain all required documentation pertaining to regulatory compliance in a proprietary platform
4. Review pet food and health supplement packaging to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
5. Provide detailed reports to clients related to regulatory review of labeling
6. Submit dossiers to the FDA for hairball claim approval
7. Complete USDA import permits
8. Use available resources to maintain knowledge base of current regulations pertaining to the animal food industry

6. Adobe Acrobat experience
Additional desired skills
1. Familiarity with Airtable or other similar data management systems
Experience
Previous experience with submission of animal food and remedy licensing and registration applications required. Previous experience with regulatory review of animal food labeling required.
The required skills are extremely important to the success of any potential candidate.
