This senior level management position is responsible for providing the strategic and operational direction of all departments in the Operations Division and is accountable for all operational functions related to the safe and effective operation of Rides, Park Services, Admissions, Guest Relations, Special Events and Entertainment.
Ideal candidate is a proven leader who uses their experience to manage resources, developing, and implementing an operational plan and ensuring that policies and procedures executed properly, and to Six Flags high standards. Guide decisions to ensure the profitability and sustainability in achieving company goals and objectives. Have solid business and financial acumen and an understanding of all functional aspects of park operations, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and a record of accomplishment driving team-driven results. Our Director of Operations will work closely with Corporate Operations and Corporate Security while reporting directly to the Park Manager.

Requirements
Responsible for overseeing the creation and maintenance of the operating budget for the Operations Division.
Sets Operations Team goals including budget targets based upon Park and Corporate Strategies.
Provide guidance, support, and feedback related to park programs that influence park operations.
Ensure division management works closely with Human Resources in order to ensure adequate staffing.
Perform routine and regular assessment of bench strength related to succession planning and talent development for the Operations Division and support the ongoing development needs of direct reports.
Responsible to interface with and support the Marketing and Revenue Divisions to ensure successful implementation of all special events.
Work closely with the Maintenance Director and Managers to exceed all established safety procedures and requirements for ride operations.
Will provide strategic input to the Park President concerning park direction and product delivery.
Monitors and analyzes measurable operational standards such as throughput, speed of service and downtime followed by guidance for improvements.
Monitors and ensures compliance with all relevant aspects of corporate initiatives.
Monitors guest feedback and makes recommendations to the Park Management team on product and service issues to be addressed.
Responsible for maintaining all Six Flags standards and enforcing all park policies and procedures.
Communicate pertinent operating issues to park staff and Park President accurately and on a timely basis.
Organize, schedule and prepare participants for Unit 10 Duty Manager functions to include the preparation of the Unit 10 weekly/monthly schedule.
Tracks performance. Regularly review and analyze Park seasonal labor performance against targets to identify and implement opportunities to gain ongoing improvements in labor usage.
Strategically drives Guest satisfaction while achieving Overall Satisfaction Score goals by maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient operation of the park
