Position Summary

The Contract Administration Specialist provides acquisition and contract administration support for construction and infrastructure projects in support of Beale Air Force Base.  This is an onsite contract position located at Beale AFB, California.  The role supports government contracting officers and project teams with pre-award and post-award activities, contract documentation, modifications, and contract closeout activities to ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations and agency policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide contract administration support for federal government construction-related acquisitions/procurements and task orders.
• Assist with preparation and management of federal government acquisition documentation and contract files.
• Support federal government pre-award activities including solicitation preparation, proposal evaluation coordination, and contract award documentation.
• Support federal government post-award contract administration activities including contract modifications, option exercises, and contract closeout.
• Develop and process contract actions and modifications using CON-IT or similar government acquisition systems.
• Maintain electronic contract files and documentation using systems such as KTFileshare or similar electronic file management tools (like SharePoint).
• Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and applicable construction acquisition procedures.
• Assist with task order administration under federal government Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts.
• Coordinate with federal government contracting officers, program managers, legal advisors, and technical teams to support acquisition processes.
• Track contract deliverables, documentation requirements, and acquisition milestones.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum five (5) years of total federal government contracting experience including at least three (3) years supporting construction acquisitions.
• Experience supporting pre-award and post-award contract administration including modifications and closeout activities.
• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and construction-related acquisition procedures.
• Experience using electronic file management systems such as KTFileshare or similar systems (like other SharePoint sites/workflows).
• Experience developing contract actions and modifications using CON-IT or other similar federal government-used acquisition systems.
• Knowledge of solicitation methods under FAR 16.505 within Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts.
• Ability to work onsite at Beale Air Force Base, California.
