Our long-established, physician-owned cardiology practice is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practicioner to join our growing clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for an NP/PA with 3+ years of experience (not necessarily in cardiology) who is eager to learn, grow, and build long-term relationships with patients.  
With a location in the most western portion of Orange County, there is flexibility to live anywhere from Newport Beach/Irvine arrows or up the LA south bay coasts of Torrance or Redondo Beach and have full access to LA and Orange counties.

Position Summary:

Responsibilities: 

Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular symptoms or disease 
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians 
Perform patient assessments, follow-ups, and ongoing disease management 
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and disease processes 
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation 

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of clinical experience as a NP/PA (cardiology, hospitalist, critical care, primary care or ER preferred) 
Active and unrestricted California license 
National certification  
Strong diagnostic, clinical, and patient management skills 
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively 
EMR proficiency
