From the Ground Up is seeking a talented and highly motivated Landscape Architect or Landscape Designer to join our creative Dallas Design Studio. This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead design-driven, high-end residential landscape projects across the greater Dallas area, working closely with a collaborative team of designers and construction professionals.
The ideal candidate combines creativity, technical precision, bringing design vision to life from concept through master plan.

Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Design Director to prepare quality landscape designs, construction documents, estimates, and proposals for presentations delivered by the Design Director.
Develop and refine design drawings, plans, and renderings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and related platforms. Conduct site analysis, field inventory, and design development in collaboration with the project team. Prepare construction drawings, cost estimates, proposals, and project contracts. Oversee construction documentation and communicate intent to operations and field teams. Collaborate with the Design Director to maintain design integrity and project efficiency. Support business development and company growth
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent professional design experience. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in landscape architecture or design, with emphasis on high-end residential projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong conceptual and technical design skills, with attention to proportion, materials, and detailing. Excellent communication skills. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple design projects and timelines simultaneously. Professional licensure (PLA) or track toward licensure preferred, but not required.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $70,000 – $120,000, commensurate with experience. Eligibility for performance-based bonuses after 12 months. Defined career growth path toward senior design and project leadership roles.
