Job DescriptionAs a Revenue Manager you will enjoy collaborating with cross-functional business partners to evaluate customer contracts and provide well-reasoned solutions for concluding sales opportunities with appropriate revenue recognition considerations using your knowledge of ASC 606. Additional activities for this role include month and quarter close activities both at a high and hands on level and complex ad hoc projects, assisting with internal and external audit efforts, using proficiency in advanced excel modeling in addition to the ability to learn and use multiple ERP systems. You will also develop, implement, and improve accounting processes and procedures with experience in a SOX environment for dynamic lines of business
A Day in the Life:
• Perform at a high and hands-on level in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes as it relates to revenue recognition and current standards.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and handle documentation
• Manage complex revenue recognition processes and reporting
• Develop and update departmental policies and procedures
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and support as it relates to revenue accounting (US GAAP).
• Manage and review the daily tasks of our Revenue Accountant located in India
• Prepare sales commission deferral calculations and update/develop commission assumptions
• Assist with ERP implementation
• Other duties as assigned by manager
We are looking for someone who brings
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA preferred or equivalent experience
• Experience 3-5 years of progressive financial analysis and reporting experience in industry or with a major public accounting firm.
• Strong financial background and revenue recognition experience.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Analysis of accounting treatment with thorough understanding of ASC 606.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral.
• Expertise and proficiency in building financial and decision support models
We will see it as a bonus if you also bring:
• Sage Intacct Experience and/or NetSuite Experience

• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, able to identify revenue opportunities, gaps, and develop creative solutions to drive growth.
