The Project Manager at Bimbo Bakeries USA is a strategic leader responsible for the management of significant, multi-disciplinary projects that require a broad knowledge of business processes. The Project Manager supports the organization by understanding the overall strategy and its integration with the initiative goals; working with business leaders translate executive vision into actionable plans, managing interdependencies, and ensuring cohesive execution across departments. Experience in full life cycle product management is required.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Take ownership of all aspects of project management in the Innovation, Marketing and Route to Market space.
Work closely with the stakeholders to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is well understood.
Facilitate communication among cross-functional teams. Enable agile execution of initiatives while identifying risks early and developing mitigation plans
Escalate critical issues to maintain business, timeline and budget alignment
Lead meetings and working sessions with stakeholders, SME’s, and senior leaders to assist with: developing the business case; developing project plans using appropriate tools, identifying key deliverables and timelines; identifying and managing project dependencies and critical path items; taking action to troubleshoot problem areas. Help further develop our project lifecycle management tool.
Regularly analyze and report the progress of programs to leadership via executive level. Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

Works under limited direction and independently determines and develops approach to solutions.
Must have intellectual curiosity and a willingness to delve into problems to understand root cause.
Education and Work History:
Bachelor's degree, master’s degree preferable. A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.
A minimum of 5 years of experience working in waterfall, iterative and agile development environments.
Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management and Commercialization Process
Business analysis – process design (current vs. future state)
Strong knowledge of Smartsheet and Microsoft products including Excel, PowerPoint, Projects, Visio
