- HDR brachytherapy program with a focus on gynecologic malignancies
- An established Radiopharmaceutical Therapy (RLT) program
- Dedicated 1:1 physician-to-nurse staffing model
- A highly capable PA who manages inpatient consults, most follow-ups, and triages on-treatment issue
What We Offer
- Partnership track in a well-established, physician-owned group with long-standing professional service contract
- Supportive and collaborative environment with a focus on patient-centered care
- Access to advanced technologies and innovative treatment modalities
- Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package
- Stable, long-term opportunity in a desirable and accessible Northeast location
Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Radiation Oncology
- Self-motivated, ownership mindset
- Aligned on maximizing retirement instead of highest possible W2 paystub
- Non-transitory, compelling reason to live in CT
Location
Central Connecticut offers a vibrant cultural scene, excellent youth sports and schools, and easy access to Boston and New York City, beaches and skiing. Terrific lifestyle arbitrage relative to other Northeast locations - high income potential with 30% cost of living compared to Greater Boston / New York.
Requirements
Our ideal candidate demonstrates a sincere commitment to establishing long-term roots in the Hartford area and brings a strong sense of accountability and ownership to their work. We are seeking a true partner—someone who values professional autonomy, is not pursuing a health system employment model, and wants to help shape the future of an independent, physician-led practice. While we maintain our independence, we collaborate closely with hospital leadership and play an active role in committees and departmental advocacy, which has strengthened our influence across the region.
A willingness to share gynecologic brachytherapy responsibilities is essential and reflects our team-based approach to delivering excellent care while maintaining balanced workloads. Work-life balance is a core value of our practice, supported by a generous vacation package. As a physician-owned practice, partners also benefit from significant retirement planning advantages, including the ability to contribute well over $100,000 annually to retirement accounts—creating a clear pathway to long-term financial security and the option for earlier retirement from clinical practice.
This role may appeal to either a new graduate seeking mentorship and a clear pathway to partnership, or a mid-career radiation oncologist looking for greater autonomy, higher long-term earning potential, and the opportunity to live in a region with a lower cost of living and an exceptional environment for raising a family.
