About the Position
The Law Office of Kelley F. Whalen is seeking a skilled and experienced Attorney with a minimum of five (5) years of experience to join our established and growing firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, family law, and probate matters, including contested and uncontested probate cases. This is a full-time, position for an attorney capable of managing cases independently, providing high-quality legal representation, and maintaining excellent client relationships. This is a position involving short -track to equity position
Responsibilities
Manage and handle cases from initial consultation through resolution in the areas of family law, probate, and litigation.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
Conduct hearings, mediations, and court appearances.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Provide practical, results-oriented legal advice and representation.
Contribute to client development and firm growth initiatives.
Qualifications
Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
5+ years of experience practicing in litigation, preferably probate but will
consider litigation experience in other practice areas
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and courtroom communication abilities.
Ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently with minimal supervision.
Professional, ethical, and client-focused demeanor.
